You are not meant to go near a car’s electrics unless you are a qualified auto electrician. That said it shouldn't be a big job. I wouldn't go to a main dealer; any good back street mechanic should be able to do it for you.
Just don't use them unless it's foggy, there is nothing that marks out a driver as a plonker like putting on their fog lights all the time.
