From Job Seekers Benefit to Small Buisness Startup!

Hi
I have been made redundant nearly 12 months ago. If i wanted to have a go at starting up a small buisness (ie 3D & Architecural service), is there a way to keep getting benefits until i can get self supporting. I have no savings but i could get up an running with an few Thousand Euro.

If i couldnt earn enough per week to live, is there a scheme to get a small amount of assistance to make up the difference?

You would imagine it would be a win win for everyone.

Appreciate any Info or comment.
 
There is the back to work scheme but my understanding is that they ask for a business plan to assess and I've heard that they are not supporting anything to do with the Building and Construction industry as well as my own area of printing.
