From bill pay to ready to go

Hi,
Have had a bill pay contract with o2 and esat digifone before that. Bought a new touchscreen phone a few weeks ago on an upgrade, have decided its not for me. Going back to my old Nokia. My wife wants the phone to use as a ready to go. But how can she do this as the sim in her old phone is different and wont fit in the new phone and the sim i got with the phone is registered to my account?
 
She just needs to go into O2 and get a pay as you go O2 sim card and put it in. Must be O2 as they are locked to the network you get them from and will not unlock that quickly. Tell them it is a touchscreen she will be using and see if they have a pay as you go rate that suits that as well as internet costs can add up.
 
Hi, Thanks Partnership... Rang o2 today and you are absolutely correct. Just need to buy a payg sim and she can use the phone & keep her old number..
