Hi,
A few of us were made redundant and now a friend has also been given redundunacy, its non voluntary, and she has just found out she is pregnant, she knows she will be entitled to 1 yrs stamps she has worked full time for over 10 years, she is still looking for work and will continue to do this, but she will hardly get a job having a bump in the middle of a recession. (sorry but companies are taking this into account although they wont ever admit it for legal reasons)...
So my question is, when her stamps run out, what is she entitled to from the government, from what I have been reading, the answer is nothing, except JA which is means tested, or start a course and try and get back to education allowance is this correct?
Thanks,
Blueeyes.
