Fri buses thru Donnybrook - full of students by 12.30pm??

I have to go from Donnybrook Village to Parnell Square tomorrow (Fri) to arrive there by 1.15pm. I’ve noticed buses going thru Donnybrook on Friday afternoons are packed full of UCD students and luggage heading home for the weekend? Anybody know for sure if the same would be the case for buses going through Donnybrook village @ 12.30pm? I can’t miss my appointment and I don’t want to stand watching full buses fly by which I’ve seen happen at 1.30pm-ish on other Fridays despite Donnybrook being extremely well served by buses. Need to decide before I leave the office whether it’s a bus or go for plan b: walk to Lansdowne and get a train to Connolly and walk again from there...

Walk up to Ranelagh Road?

Take a bus in the other direction first, say to Stillorgan, cross the road and get on the bus to Parnell Square before the UCD students!

If its a 'must not miss' appointment why don't you just book a taxi?
