Frequency of BOI personal current account statements

'We wish to advise customers that we will be changing the frequency with which we issue personal current account statements.

From 1st December 2010 the frequency of personal current account statements will be reduced to quarterly. This will only apply to customers who currently receive their statement more frequently than quarterly.

The change to statement frequency will happen automatically. You can however retain a monthly statement by completing a form available from BOI.'

I dont see a problem with this. Any reasons why you should stay monthly?

I am with AIB and I can get e-statements from within internet banking, if I need a 'paper one' I just ring and they post one out to me.

Thats great! I am sick of getting postal statements - it involves having more stuff to shred and recycle. Statements are available on-line at anytime. They should ask people to opt in for a postal statement for those that require it that way.
