Free website editor/text to html convertor?

Hi

Getting a site done and will have limited editing capability. Once site is up and if the situation arises, would like to be able to edit further e.g. create hyperlinks, maybe change some text.

Any ideas about useful easy to use FREE programmes?
 
If you get the site done using a CMS like WordPress you'll be able to edit pages to your heart's content.

And Wordpress is very flexible ... google friendly, user friendly etc.

Sites can look very professional with WP and not look as if they have been made with a free Content Management System.
 
Thanks - site is being done with Dreamweaver.

+1 on Coffee Cup, they have some fantastic software.

+1 on Wordpress to although to personalise a theme to your suiting will take a little bit of knowledge.
 
Dreamweaver is good.
I second wordpress. There are currently 200 people being trained in a programme funded by the government and the EU to train SME's and help them set up websites and this is what is being used.
It is simple to start with but does take some knowledge once you dig deeper into the whole design process.
