Can anyone tell me, do RTE have it on their agenda to broadcast FTA in the near future. I recently purchased a dish from LIDL and am very impressed with the reception for the UK channels - yet when I switch back to analogue for RTE & Network 2 the reception is very poor. As i am living in Cork to recieve a half decent signal, I would need to subscribe to South Coast Community Television - which is another expence. I would be under the illusion that as I am paying my T.V. licence I should be in receipt of a good signal. Currently as a comparison I compare myself to paying refuse charges..............but no bin-lorry calls.
