Just read that RTE will save €100,000 when they stop posting the RTE Guide free to former staff.
Does anyone know if present or former staff get a free TV Licence as a perk?

I know someone who works in RTE. He started 5 years ago and he definitely does not get a free TV licence. He is unaware of it ever being a perk in the past.

I have a vague memory of hector and tommy referring to the fact that they received a free rte guide every week. I would therefore assume that it was the 'talent' who got the freebie.
