The newly formed Irish Innovation Skillnet is a Government/Industry initiative to improve knowledge in key areas of Innovation.
In the current economic environment, a number of serious challenges exist to Irish industry at a national and enterprise level. Ireland has a great need for innovation, and people with innovation skills. The Innovation Skillnet aims to address these issues by building up skills in Innovation in member companies and individuals by raising their innovation capability. In providing these skills, the network aims to achieve increased business in Irish companies from innovation and an increase in the commercial return from innovation.
Although not highlighted on their site, 20 places are available free of charge for anybody who is unemployed, whether in receipt of benefit or not.
