Here's some good value - free spoken word versions of a good few out of copyright books.

Check out http://www.librivox.org for another reason I love the internet.

Basically it is a repository of volunteer readings of out of copyright classics (well, some of them must be classics).

I have no idea of production quality, but since they are free and volunteer based you know what to expect.

A great find and thanks for the notice.

I'm currently hogging corporate bandwidth with downloads from here ;) -

fair dues car - I guess I wasn't using AAM too much in the lead-in to Christmas.

Downloaded a book for me and one for the kids. Unfortunately the speaker's voice on both grates with me - the kids will be more tolerant.

Funny that. Just came across it myself last night. I notice that they actually take some stuff from www.archive.org as well. A lot more than just audiobooks there.

car - again, fair dues. I hadn't seen your previous post. You beat me to it.
