Since I’ve moved to broadband last October the supplier has not billed me. I login to see my bill and it’s being paid by the supplier themselves each month.
Can they request that I pay for all those months or is it a situation that they lose out on this money since they never billed me on a bi-monthly basis?
I have never signed anything for them. I rang up requesting broadband, they came out and installed it. Went away and no contract or anything has ever being signed.
Thanks

Eh, where are you based? Could I run an extension cable from your house to ours?

Definitely sounds strange.

The EU has regulated the sale of goods and services. A contract is legal binding, even if not signed, for example when it's made via a conversation at the phone. The (unknowing) consumer is very easily trapped by this, once accepting a service at the conditions of the seller without knowing these conditions he/she is in the hands of the partner. Esp. if there is no tape for evidence.

can I ask if its esat? If it is, put the money aside, they'll hit you with it eventually. Their billing system has <cough> issues.
