I have a query on the Form 12. In the Employments section, it asks for "Gross Amount of Tax Deducted". I'm wondering if this mean Gross Tax ie tax figure at the 20%/41% rates before the tax credits are deducted? The P60 includes the net tax figure ie gross tax less tax credits. Would appreciate any help in clearing this up for me.
 
You put in the total amount of tax paid, which is indeed the net tax figure.
 
Thanks for that. I did think initially that it was the figure from the P60 they were looking for but the "Gross Tax" thing threw me a bit!

By using the word 'gross' they probably want to make sure you enter the full amount of tax paid in the year, maybe from 2 P60's , or P60 + P45 etc .

The question asked is about Employment's ( plural )
