Form 12 submitted October - still no balancing statement

Hi,
Myself and Mr Geri both sumbitted Form 12's in October. We jointly own a house from which we receive rental income. We are not married so are assessed separately.
I received my balancing statement in November 2005, but Mr Geri has not received one yet. He called them just after Christmas but was told that there was a backlog. Yesterday he received his Tax Credits but no mention of rental income, balancing statement etc. Does this sound right?

Unfortunately yes,

I am in the same position PAYE worker also with a rental property (for several years) and having just received my 2006 TFA, it has the 2003 rental income on it as a deduction (I submitted my 2004 return in Sept '05). Rang the Revenue and got the same story, backlog etc.
