I am PAYE worker & have Rental income from investment Property - which form do i complete?
Also i notice on the Revenue Website that it is possible to have Tax Credits adjusted so as have all on PAYE & not have to do returns. Ive tried contacting Revenue & awaiting a reply for same. Anyone experience of this?

You need to fill out form TRS1 and register yourself for income tax. Then once you a resgiestered you fill in form 11. I am not too sure what you are asking in the second part of your query, sorry!

Not sure this is correct - the TRS1 form is for claiming the relief on your mortgage interest on your PPR. If the house is an investment property then I dont think you are permitted to claim the relief on the interest paid.

Just received confirmation from Revenue that it is Form 12 that needs to be returned.

You need to fill out form TRS1

TRS1 is totally inappropriate for rental properties unless one is going to be declaring a 0% TRS claim.

hope you don't mind me hijacking but could someone clarify something for me. In respect of pension contributions do i multiply my total contributions by 41% to get the amount deductable from taxable income, also is it the same with medical expenses i.e. the total amount of expenditure by 41%?

Sorry guys meant TR1 not TRS1, so to register for income tax.
