My personal opinion is that nothing will change in Ireland in relation to the non-dom rules. In the UK the rules have been way way less beneficial than in Ireland for a long time. They indeed worsened again recently, but Ireland never followed the UK in the last few decades or so. Will they change them now ? It may possibly change if we get a SF govt. I have read some articles over the last few months highlighting how advantageous are the non-dom rules in Ireland compared to the UK rules, one of the benefits to attracting foreign companies and their echelons to Ireland. The Irish tax system is very good towards people with very low income, large corporations , non-dom residents and very high earners, less good to the vast majority of the remaining population, which are middle class Irish domiciled citizens
