Ford Mondeo timing belt or chain

I hope someone can help with I am looking to buy a 2008 mondeo 1.6 petrol and my query is do they have a timing belt or a timing chain.
 
Or ring any Ford dealer in the world and ask them. Why would you rely on some random person's reply on a forum about such an important question.....
 
I thought this was suppose to be a helpful forum. It was only a question, have a bit of respect.

And indeed it is a helpful forum and respect is reciprocated if respect is shown.

Any forum that I am a member of dislikes posters who expect forum members to do their searching for them when they themselves can't be bothered to.
If you had said something like....;- "I have spent X hours looking this up......." or "I can't make head nor tail of what I have read......" etc. then maybe you might have got more helpful answers.

However without any indication given, that you have even "googled" your question, it can in certain instances be perceived as presumptuous on your part to expect others to do what you can't be bothered to do.

Notwithstanding this, I think "Username123"'s advice is quite pertinent.
