Hi I would appreciate your help with a problem with a Ford Mondeo. The problem is when I am driving there is a quiet whistly noise/sound when my foot is on the accelerator. When I take my foot off the accelerator the noise stops.

Also, Does the timing belt need to be changed in this model ?
 
probably timing belt and the tensioner, possibly crank shaft pulley too, I have similar problem with mine and I have to get all the above replaced!

Vibrating / humming noise when i start it which goes when i drive it

All Mondeos from 2000-2007(mk3) have timing chains not belt
 
There is a guy on here that would sort you out. I had a problem with my 02 mondeo and he sorted it out for me. He know's his ****. I can PM you his number if you want.
