Ford Galaxy MK3 clocked

Hi All, wonder if anybody can help me.
Bought a Ford Galaxy MK3 2 weeks ago and we strongly suspect it was clocked.
Ford tells me that their IDS software was unable to read the mileage , is that normal ?
Anybody knows how to check if the mileage was actually changed ?
