Is this type of plasterboard for to be used for cold damp walls (no DPC) or should I use a DPC plastic on the wall first and then use ordinary foam backed plasterboard. Is the mushroom plastic inserts acceptable for attach to a cavity block wall or do I have to use battons as I dont want to loose an extra inch. going to go with the enginners recommendation of 3" or 62mm insulation
