Fly - drive to toulouse, child car seats

We are flying to Toulouse and hiring a car through Hertz, and need car seats for a baby and toddler. Do they have enough car seats there? We hired a car with car seat in Carcassonne last year, they only had infant (rock a tot) sets available, which were fine for a 14 month old (she was small and light enough for them), but they didn't have any for older children and at 2 she's much too big for them...

Did you request car seat at time of booking as these are normally "on request" and cannot be confirmed instantly. Give the Hetz service centre a ring and confirm with them the ages of children etc..

Yes we requested two car seats. We booked on line, did the same last year, and when we arrived we had our choice of car seats, one 'older' seat that was broken, and about 10 infant seats that were a bit grubby, but OK. We were able to use the infant seat last year, but this year we need the older seat.

Giver Hertz a call on 6767476 with your reservation number and ask them to add the ages of the children to the remarks field this should ensure that you get the correct seat.
