florida...best location in march for weather and golf

Hiya,
Heading to florida in mid march. Just want to play a bit of golf and wear t-shirts and shorts. Is there a temp difference between orlando and miami or naywhere else for that matter? Does it matter where you go regarding golf? I know there are golf courses everywhere in florida.

It doesn't matter where you go in Florida in March - the weather will still be lovely. Miami temps would be higher than Orlando (it's about 4 hours drive south of Orlando). Orlando in March would probably be like a really nice summer's day here.

dont know much about miami golfing but orlando is top quality. there are hundreds of pay per play courses that would rival the K club. You can also book tee times in many of them online before you even leave ireland.

The first four months of the year are normally when the 'snowbirds' come down from Canada etc. to holiday in Florida. From Orlando down it should be very nice that time of the year, the trouble in Florida is the heat in the Summer. When you are talking about going is the best time of the year weather wise, it's not too warm, shorts can be worn during the day, and maybe a sweater at night.

Florida is great for golf, with loads of top class courses around places like in Naples, in SW Florida .

Check out golf site - if you are flexible the specials are excellent. Spent Christmas and new year on Sanibel Island. Awesome.
