Florence Hotel?

Hi all,

does anyone know of any central hotels in Florence that would be convenient for seeing the sights - have never been there before and don't really know what the centre even is?!!

any advice appreciated!

Try http://www.venere.com (www.venere.com) where feedback on hotels is posted. We stayed in the Annabella which is very cheap and cheerful and an excellent location

We are just back from Italy. We stayed in the Olimpia Hotel which is really central. Its basic but clean. We booked through http://www.venere.com (www.venere.com) and paid €90 a night. Don't get a room overlooking the square as its fairly noisey at night time.
