Fixed line number for dial-up

Hello, I am using UTV Telecom, which means that all off-peak landline calls are free. I also use an 1892 number for internet dial-up.

So I was wondering if I had a normal Irish fixed-line number to dial-up to, then I would have the internet for free.

i.e. an ISP that uses a normal fixed-line number.

I recall a few unison.ie dial-up numbers, but can't find then now.

Anybody any ideas?

Those 1892 numbers map to standard phone number formats. If you call any tech support and ask for the 00353xxx number they'll be able to give you it.

Tonka can you post a link to where these are on the O2 website?

methinks if UTV etc copped on to these lines they would charge as the agreement is for voice and not data services. I heard Euphony have started charging for these type of numbers (the ones they have copped on to)
