Fitting stove into corner?

I live in a log house. We do not have a fireplace. We rely on oil and obviously this is becoming expensive. We use around €2000 worth of oil per year. We never planned for a stove so are stuck for somewhere to put one. We have one corner of our sitting room approx 60cm x 70cm that could possibly fit a stove. On one side of this corner is a window.

Is it possible to build some sort of fireproof stove surround/fireplace in the corner to protect the window with the flue exiting through the roof? What would be involved in this and roughly how much would it cost?
