Fishing in Scotland

I am heading over to Scotland in Feb '08 fishing.
We are looking to fishing Lock Ken in Kirkcudbrightshire or around that area.
Has anybody tryed this area i am looking for Accommodation.

The borders aren't my speciality, but I did stay once at the Douglas Arms when I was doing a course. Nothing particularly special, very traditional, and perfectly alright.
