Hi All,

My car is due for its first NCT next year. Does anybody know when exactly i need to ahve it done? I presume it is from the month the car was manufactured or does it ahve to be done at the beginning of the year?

Don't leave booking it until the last minute... Try to book well in advance especially if you have a January car, or if you need an appointment outside business hours.
 
NCT are suggesting that those who have tests due in January to apply early to avoid the busy period.

Just to remind you that if you get an early test date (say Dec 1st 2015) your next test will be due on Dec 1st 2017 and same test date (Dec 1st) each time thereafter.

Only if you apply more than 90 days before the test is due.
