Fireplace Removal

Currently rennovating a house to live in (from hopefully next week) and I am stumped as to how to remove the existing oil based fireplace - I have removed the cement - and now held in by only one pipe, which was originally connected to the old oil system (now replaced by gas). The shear weight of the steel does not help - does anyone have any ideas? I am sure it is a five minute job; alternatively does anyone know of a co to help in the Portmarnock area?

Thanks

If it is currently connected to the gas system then it sounds as if it is a job for a professional. Would a recommendation from www.bordgais.ie be in order?
