Just a little niggling thing, but i've just noticed that the letter "g" lower-case, sometimes appears as "q" when looking at topic listing for this and other fora.

Using Firefox 1.5.0.1

It's OK when i use IE6

is it something in my settings?

tia

example, niggle appears as "niqqle" in the thread list

It's simply a rendering issue whereby by default the URL link underlining obliterats the tail of the 'g'. If you increase the font size in FireFox you will see that eventually the tail of the 'g' becomes visible. Definitely not something that we'll be changing the AAM/vBulletin/HTML/CSS settings to address. Sorry.

Thanx CM.

It is extraordinary how silly one can feel, when the obvious answer is given.

But there still seems to display better in IE.

However, it will not annoy me any more now, and i won't be going back to IE.

You should be able to tweak your FireFox settings so that styles set at the browser merge with or override those set by the web page's CSS style settings but it seems like a lot of effort to go to just to see the descenders/tails on certain characters.
