hi. last saturday morning i was fired from my job and i was assalted in the process. im now lookin for a solicitor that doesnt charge crazy money just for advice on my situation

Can you be a bit more specific as to what happened and people on this forum may be able to advise you

For example, you mentioned you were assaulted, what do you mean by this and have you reported it to the Gardai
Also, why were you sacked and how long had you been employed there?

If you were assaulted you should report it to the Guards.

Yes, but the other thread was looking for information on Jobseeker's Benefit, so the alleged assault would hardly be relevant.

OP, as others have said report the assault to the Gardai otherwise it will not be taken very seriously if you try to take it further.

yes, but there was an argument the night before which i presume was the cause for being sacked the next day, did the assault happen the night before or that morning and what was the details of the assault, eg did OP have to be removed from the premises due to aggressive behaviour etc??
