I purchased a commerical unit in a property investment in Helsinki in 2006.
There are several units in the building which are entirely owned by Irish Investors. I origionaly had a five year lease but my tenant defaulted and my unit is now vacant since November 2007.
I am still liable for maintenance charges etc, My agent has been unable to find a tenant for me. In my opinion he has no interest in finding a tenant for me. Does anybody know the name of a good english speaking agent in Helsinki as my costs are mounting up.
Has anyone had a similar experience could you please give me some advice.

Re: finish investment.

Is your existing agent based in Finland or Ireland?

Why do you say your agent has 'no interest finding a tenant'? Did you buy through this agent originally? Were you paying management fees plus tenancy/maintenance costs?

Re: Finnish investment.

I purchased my unit through Finland Investments in Ireland.
They set me up with new estate agent in Finland when my origional tenant defaulted. They have not been able to find me a tenant and to my knowledge have had no viewing in the last few months. Yes I have been paying maintenance and management fees.

Re: finish investment.
