I fixed my rate a little over 2 years ago.
Got my mortgage statement in the post recently and found that my rate had been increased by 1.1%. A considerable amount annually, and had been done almost 12 months ago.
It’s currently being investigated, they have verbally accepted it’s a mistake and a refund is needed. Putting it down as a technical error, computer glitch.
As it’s a very easy thing to miss and I’m hardly the only one I would like to encourage any finance Ireland customers to check if similar has happened them.
