Morning,

Does anyone know of any lenders dealing in Turkey, Bulgaria, USA, Poland.
Looking to both refinance and purchase properties and would like to take out finance in the country of origin rather then remortgage or seek finance through Irish lenders.

All suggestions appreciated.
 
Try AIB's BZWBK, Deutsche Bank and Noble Bank in Poland; all give mortgages to non-residents.

I got a 90% LTV for a property in Poland through Millennium Bank. Good interest rate. Think they prefer permanent employees over freelancers.

If you are going to use them you need to go out there as they need all sorts of documents. I recommend a good broker. I used connect overseas.

can't speak for other countries, but interest rates on mortgages and loans are quite high in turkey - up to 17%. My advice would be to seek alternative finance - for e.g some companies, my own included offer a buy now, move in, pay over 18/24/36 months etc at 0% interest, which is much cheaper than a mortgage in Turkey. As you can start using the property from the moment you pay the deposit, you can start renting it out if you wish, so the rent will go towards the next repayment in the schedule.
