Finance for Portugese Apartment

I want to take out a 70% Portugese mortgage for E70,000 to buy a studio apartment.

Can anyone recommend the best way to go about looking for this amount?

Should I start with Barclays Bank? Any tips etc greatly appreciated.
 
I mentioned Barclays because they have a presence in a number of countries and seem reputable. I have no preference, if anyone can recommend any bank from their own experiences that would be appreciated. Thanks.

I use Banco Espirito Santo in Portugal and find them good...Barclays do also have a presence as you've suggested and some friends of mine are with them and seem to have no complaints.
