Finalizing house sale + getting ill

Hi
I'm waiting for a planning permission to go through in the house I'm buying - I have everything in place, offer letter signed and returned I'm literally just missing the house insurance which I'm not going to start until I things are moving. Now I have a medical illness and I'll have to take a couple of months off work.
Is this going to affect my mortgage, as in can they refuse it somehow?
What should I do?
Help I really don't want to lose my house because I'm sick!!!!

Hi Pammy, sorry you are ill - you should read this post ongoing at the moment http://www.askaboutmoney.com/showthread.php?t=142601
It's a similar question but instead of illness throwing the mortgage into question it is a redundancy. You need to ask yourself are you getting fully paid while off? Will you definitely be able to go back? Is it worth the extra stress having a house buy / mortgage repayments while you are sick or should you wait until you are in good health again. There would always be another house.
