Hi, filling in Form 11 for 2008 for my husband and myself. We have a rental income which I have no problem with. However on my husband's pay slip he makes a contribution every month to a pension fund of €197.13 and his employer makes a contribution of €246.41. As it is on his pay slip is he getting the reliefs due to him or do I need to fill all this in on the Form 11 at 507 - Personal Retirement Savings Accounts? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Protocol-is the Form 12 only to be used by those Paye workers with income less than €3,174?

It is likely that your husband is geting relief via payroll for pension contributions. There is no requirement to include this information on a form 11 or 12.

Revenue sent out the Form 11 to us to fill in so I presume that is what they require.

Once you have been sent a Form 11 it must be filed. Revenue have determined that your rental income warrants F11 filing, not F12.
