Filling Gaps in Floorboards

Hi,

I recently sanded and stained the tongue and groove floorboards in the upstairs of my house. It was the first time I had tried doing something like this and I was quite pleased with the result, aside from 1 small, annoying problem. The problem is, in places, there are gaps in the floorboards and some of the stain dripped down between the boards. These drips are visible where the gaps are more than 3mm. For the other boards, the shadow conceals the drips.

I've tried scrapping out the drips between the boards, staining between the boards and using wood filler to fill the gaps, but it still doesn't look right. Does anyone know of a way of filling these gaps in a way that would not spoil the look. Any ideas would be much appreciated...
