Filling for a sofa

Hi,

We have recently spent a considerable about of money on a sofa but really find it quite lumpy and uncomfortable to sit on - does anyone know where we would could get the filling in the sofa replaced with something more confortable??

It will most likely be expensive to replace so why would you not go back to the supplier and tell them that you are unhappy with the sofa.

To replace you will probably need to go to an upholsterer or possibly buy new sponge filling yourself. There is a shop in 110, Capel St., Dublin 1 that does this type of stuff so they might be able to help. This will work if the covers are removable on the seats/backs.

We had our sofas re-upholstered by Tom Fitzsimons in Ashbourne Upholstery and he did a fantastic job. He was recommended to us by a friend who has also used his services and was extremely pleased as well. He may be able to help you with your issue.
