I ordered something from Amazon via one of their market place sellers. The item did not arrive by the latest due date (21st July) I contacted the seller who asked me wait until today and if it still hadn't arrived they would resend the item. I told the seller I would wait, however as the item was needed today at the latest a resend was not acceptable.
Nothing has arrived today so I went to file a claim under the Amazon Guarantee but on the drop down menu the "item not arrived" is greyed out, the only claim reason available is "item defective/damaged" The guidance notes state if an incorrect reason is used the claim may be rejected.
Has anyone any experience of filing a claim, does it take a few more days for the other options for claiming to become available or should I just proceed with the one there and put a note in the comments section?
