Do ye remember this pub in Galway - the one that publicly defied the smoking ban ? I passed it the other day and it was closed with a big sign on the door - "Closed due to Fire Damage".

Ironic.
 
theres a story going around about some lawyer in america who bought cigars and then insured them against fire. when he smoked them he claimed against the insurance. won his case as the judge said that the insurance company didnt specify what kind of fire. anyway the insurance company then charged him with arson and making a claim theron. he got 2 years. true story or another fib?:D
