fiat punto break discs

hi id like 2 know how much it wud cost 2 get 2 brake discs replaced on a 02 punto?? i recently had a service done and the exhaust was replaced cos it fell off should they have replaced the discs?? and is it safe 2 drive

A friend of mine had to get something done on his 99 punto's breaks. I'm not what exactly he had to get done or hiw much it cost but I will try to find out and let you know. Are breaks are paticular area that the Punto's in genral have??
 
BTW car was safe to drive as long as he wasn't planning on doing any rally driving!! On the m50 car park this is unlikely!!
 
Discs and pads should be done together.

Not a difficult job. Buy the parts in a factors and if you can't diy, ask Quick Fit. Maybe they'd do the lot for you? Budget €250?

p.s. Why do so many people spell "brakes" as "breaks"?
 
youd be looking at around 150 for the dics and pads all in,even if you had to do them in your garden it would only take an hour real easy to do
 
I did discs/pads on my old MkII Escort RS2000 yesterday.

Simple, but dirty work. Parts were just over €100 (fast road pads).
