Hi, just wanted to ask a couple of Q's.
1. Can you still go Bankrupt either in the UK (or IRL) if there is a judgement made against you for an outstanding loan/mortgage in IRL?
2. If you have left the country How do you know if there has been a judgement made against you? Can they make one in your absence?
3. Finally, can you go bankrupt in the UK and include an Irish revenue judgement/debt?

Many thanks,
D

Yes, you can go bankrupt if you have judgements, no problem at all in doing that.

They can sometimes try and get judgements by sending papers to your last address. It is tricky if the letterbox is blocked and the post gets returned to sender. You can do searches online to see if there are any judgements against you or a solicitor can search for you.

I believe you can include revenue debts.
