Our local town is comsidering running a summer festival. I've been racking my brains trying to come up with some novel fundraising ideas. I think the tired old 'reliables' are played out at this stage; X-Factor competitions, Beat the Banker, table quizzes, etc., Also i don't think they raise much money for the effort that goes into them; it's usually family and friends that support them.
Anybody with any innovative ideas ot there that they have used in the past?
