Ferrycarrig

I'm wondering if anyone knows the Wexford area well, would they be able to tell me if the Ferrycarrig Hotel is close to the Ferrycarrig Lodge?
If going to a wedding at the hotel is it reasonable distance from the lodge for a late night, possibly slightly drunken stroll!?

Thanks Calico - thats great to know - to me thats worth spending the extra 50 to stay in the hotel itself!!

[broken link removed] is a B&B less than a mile from the Ferrycarrig hotel. The road ( N11 ) outside the Ferrycarrig is a dangerous one to be walking on though imo - I wouldn't do it at night time after a few beers !

Cheers! I booked the hotel in the end, sounded easier (and safer!) than trying to save €50, the recession is biting, but not that hard!!

On another note, when I rang for a quote, the 'wedding rate special' was forty euro more expensive than booking online... Anyway...its done and dusted now, just to look forward to the day!
