Fernwood - Glyntown, Glanmire, Co. Cork

My girlfried and I are considering buying one of the new 3 bed semi detached houses in the Fernwood estate in Glanmire (just over 1300 sq ft).

I was just wondering what people think of the houses here and the general area. We both have permanent jobs in Cork and we can forsee us staying in the area probaly for the next 5 years or so anyway (who knows after that). Any thoughts...anyone bought / living here? Good area for resale in the future?

Hi Alro,
Glyntown is definitely one of the nicer sides of Glanmire. Its mostly bigger detached houses in that area. It's fairly built up bit nice all the same
