Feedback about IMHO

A friend of mine is being seriously bullied by his bank.

I suggested to him to set up a meeting with IMHO - David Hall .

He has an appointment to meet David Hall next week.

He is extremely nervous.

Have we any feedback as to how effective IMHO is?
 
There is no need to be nervous, hopefully meeting David Hall will be the start of the beginning of the end of the nightmare. Hall has seen it all before. He seems to be getting deals done.

And far better to put distance between your friend and the bank via IMHO. Helps to put manners on the bank, and gives your friend the space to breath.

I wish your friend the best of luck. The sooner all these messes are sorted out the better for everybody.
 
I haven't actually met with David Hall but can let you know my experience so far:

I had meeting with my bank early September and they advised me to seek independent advice. I emailed IMHO and they got back to me very promptly. I filled in a standard financial statement, got bank statements etc and posted off to them.

When they rang me they were helpful and pleasant. They have now sent a proposal to my bank, I don't know how long it's going to take to hear back but I'm certainly glad I contacted them! Agree with what bronte said.
 
I am really surprised at the response to my plea for my friend .

Are you all bound by confidentiality clauses?

This is a sneaky ploy by the banks with no moral standing .

We are all hopefully trying to help each other ......
