1. Neither you nor your intended husband is a first time buyer as you own other properties. Your husband could qualify as FTB having given up his previous house in a divorce, but if he owns other property abroad that will disqualify him.
2. If you are married and decide to add your spouse's name to the deeds then only legal fees will apply and not taxes, talk to your solicitor about this when you buy.
3. A spouse generally has rights to the family home, which cannot be sold or mortgaged without consent.
