FE1 Law- Public servant becoming a solicitor

Any advice for early 40s to do Fe1 and become a solicitor... almost 20 years public service experience.

Also, anyone else thinking of doing Fe1- where would be best? join our resources...

The best advice I can give is to make sure you have secured a place to do your apprenticeship in when you complete your exams. Also talk with solicitors you know first. Many are having a bad time these days and are suffering as much as everyone else in this recession.
