Faulty Tail light Sensor on dashboard for E46

Tail light sensor(brake light) on the dash board is coming on and off for E46 (320d) even though all the bulbs are working perfectly, any idea how to fix it

Have you replaced the bulb/s?
Check the electrical connection at the back of the light unit and check/replace the bulb holder.

If you haven't changed the bulbs recently then have a look at the connection on the bulb holder - it is a very simple job to unplug it and see are any of the connections burnt out.

Did you check the high level centre brake light?
