I have a faulty nintendo DS, the screen is very faded at the top I brought it back to the shop it was purchsed in and it is under warranty but they are saying they don't warranty the screen, they gave me a number for nintendo to call them but is this correct?
I would have imagined I would be entitled to get a repair or a replacement?
See www.consumerconnect.ie for info about your statutory rights. You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund from the retailer if the goods were faulty.
It is really annoying when retailers try to wrangle out of their responsibilities with excuses like the rubbish you were told about not 'warrantying the screen'.
